NOVOMATIC announced Tuesday that the company’s interactive gaming division, Greentube, has launched a new slot game, Manic Potions. This latest addition is a five-reel slot with 1024 ways to win and rewarding features such as a respin bonus, a “Lock and Spin” bonus and even a mystery bonus feature.
There is a respin bonus that can be triggered each time a winning combination is landed featuring the potion bottle symbol, resulting in a single free respin and a modifier being automatically triggered. The respin bonus can be triggered every time a winning combination is landed with the potion bottle symbol.
In the event that a blue potion is landed, any win after a respin will be multiplied by a mystery multiplier, while if a yellow potion is landed, the wilds will expand. The game’s red potion symbols see an additional reel appear during a respin as well, with wins also paying from right to left, while green potions have a row of symbols appear during a respin.
The Lock and Spin feature is activated if four or more scatter symbols land on the reels at the same time during base game play. Each position on the grid then becomes a separate reel, giving players three additional respins. These rest each time a multiplier lands on the screen.
The multiplier values will combine into one position at random when three or more of the same multipliers fall adjacent and horizontally. This opens up a larger number of multipliers to appear. If a full grid is achieved, the total win is doubled. The total bet is multiplied by the multiplier at the end of the feature.
